Customs Clearance & Return & Refund

Shipping, Customs, VAT, and Delivery Fees

 

All products are shipped directly from South Korea. The order preparation time is up to 3 business days.

Estimated Delivery Time (Economy Shipping):

  • 7–14 days: USA, Canada, Australia

  • 9–20 days: Europe (UK, Germany, France, Spain, etc.)

  • 3–5 days: Asia (Hong Kong, Singapore, etc.)

 

Customs and Taxes

 

  • For the USA: A 15% reciprocal tariff is included in the selling price. Sales tax is not included but may be collected separately at a later date.

  • For Europe: The relevant VAT (19–22%) for each country is included in the selling price.

  • Shipping is free for orders totaling $45 USD or more. For orders under $45 USD, a flat rate of $5 USD applies.


Important Notes for Customs & Large Orders:

  • For bulk purchases or special shipping requirements, please email us before purchasing as the buyer and seller must coordinate to resolve customs and tax issues.

  • Basic Parcel Declaration: We typically declare parcels as "Skincare Samples" or "Non-commercial items" with a value between $10–$150 USD (depending on size, weight, and total cost). However, this does not guarantee customs clearance.

  • If you request Express Shipping, an additional express fee will be charged.

  • Customs policies change frequently. For large orders, please check with your local customs office for the most up-to-date regulations.

  • We reserve the right to request additional taxes (sales tax, VAT, customs duties, etc.) from the buyer if we anticipate they will be applied by your country.

  • If a parcel is held or rejected by your country's customs, the buyer is responsible for resolving the issue. Any extra costs incurred due to the recipient's refusal to accept the package may be charged back to the recipient.


 

Returns, Cancellations, Exchanges, and Refunds

 

We maintain a strict quality control and inspection process for all products.

Returns, Exchanges, and Refunds are only possible due to:

  • Product damage during shipping.

  • Wrong product delivered (our error).

Order Cancellation

 

You can cancel your order by emailing us at help@buybeautykorea.com before it is shipped. Cancellations are not possible once shipping has begun.

 

Returns and Exchanges

 

Please request a return or exchange via email within 7 days of receiving your item.

  • For returns/exchanges based on a simple change of mind (buyer's remorse), a fee may apply, and the buyer is responsible for the round-trip shipping costs.

  • If a delivery fails due to the buyer providing an incorrect address, the refund will be processed, excluding the original shipping fee, once the product is returned to us.

  • If the product is defective, not as advertised, or if we made an error in shipping, we will cover the shipping costs.


 

Tracking Information

 

Buyers should continuously monitor their tracking information if the package does not arrive within the estimated timeframe. Should there be a customs delay, please contact your local customs office immediately to arrange parcel pickup.
